Serenity Hospice is looking for volunteers in Marion, Polk, Benton and Linn counties to serve patients and families of the terminally ill. Working as a hospice volunteer is similar to helping a family in need. The only qualification required is your desire to help those in your community. You don't need any medical skills, you don't even need to know what to say. No experience is necessary and all training will be provided. Volunteer your time and talent as a companion for a patient, as an end of life vigil support, office assistant, veteran companion and more. Our volunteers do a variety of tasks and there is something for everyone! There are even helpful projects you can do from the comfort of your own home. To learn more, please contact Rock Riggs at rriggs@addus.com and (503) 991-5228, or visit our website https://serenityhospice.org/volunteer/ for more information.

Serenity Hospice's Salem Metro Office is looking for dedicated volunteers to help make weekly "tuck-in" calls to make sure our patients have enough supplies and refills for the weekend, then enter that information into an online form so our team can respond. We are asking for a minimum time commitment of 2 hours per week. Once you've completed volunteer onboarding and call-specific training, this volunteer position can be done 100% from the comfort of your home. Calls are typically made on Wednesdays and Thursdays, but can be made starting on Tuesdays if necessary. Please NOTE: Calls need to be made on Pacific Time frames, so as long as you can accommodate that, it doesn't matter where in the United States you are. All training will be provided. This is an easy way to support our patients and make a difference in your community. We look forward to hearing from you! To learn more about becoming a volunteer with Serenity Hospice's Salem/Eugene office, please contact Rock Riggs at rriggs@addus.com and (503) 991-5228, or visit our website https://serenityhospice.org/volunteer/ for more information.
