Role and Responsibilities: As a Donor Relations Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in establishing and nurturing connections with potential donors for B.Y.E. Working closely with our Executive Director, your responsibilities will include: - Initiating and maintaining regular contact with prospective donors, laying the foundation for strong relationships, and documenting these interactions using Salesforce. - Effectively communicating B.Y.E.'s mission and initiatives to diverse audiences in engaging and accurate ways, introducing them to our leadership and program team when appropriate, and helping foster relationships between donors and our Executive Director. - Strategically involving the Executive Director and other team members as needed, arranging meetings with potential donors, identifying ideal times for major donation requests, and scheduling face-to-face meetings when appropriate. - Conducting thorough research on potential donors. - Assisting in tracking donations. - Collaborating with our Communications team to segment email appeals and campaigns effectively. - Bringing your experience, professionalism, and a genuine appreciation for our mission to the forefront, ensuring that potential supporters feel valued and engaged. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement fundraising strategies to diversify funding sources and increase revenue. Support the preparation of grant applications, including gathering necessary documentation and information. Track the status of ongoing grant applications and ensure timely submissions. Help manage awarded grants by tracking deadlines and deliverables. Assist in preparing reports and documentation required by funders. Provide administrative support to the grant team, including scheduling meetings and maintaining communication.
