Marketing Support Role Overview: As a Marketing Support volunteer, you will help promote The Center for Sustainable Journeys in Engineering and Innovation’s programs, events, and campaigns. You will assist in creating content, managing social media accounts, and expanding our outreach to new audiences. Key Responsibilities: Assist in developing and executing social media campaigns across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms. Create engaging and shareable content such as posts, infographics, and short articles to promote our webinars and services. Help maintain and update our email marketing list and craft newsletter content. Monitor and report on social media engagement and other marketing metrics. Support promotional partnerships with other organizations or influencers. Skills/Qualifications: Experience with social media platforms and basic knowledge of content creation. Strong writing and communication skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Creativity in content development and an eye for design (Canva experience is a plus). Time Commitment: 5-7 hours per week, flexible schedule. Limitations: Due to current background screening and security protocols, we can only accept volunteer applicants from North America, South America, and the European Union. This position plays a key role in maintaining and enhancing our digital workspace, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration across the organization. Limitations: Due to current background screening and security protocols, we can only accept volunteer applicants from North America, South America, and the European Union. We are working to expand these capabilities and appreciate your understanding. Key Responsibilities: Administer and manage Office 365 services including user accounts, security settings, and system updates. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues related to Office 365 applications. Implement best practices for data management, backup, and security within Office 365. Provide technical support and training to team members as needed. Collaborate with other departments to enhance the use of Office 365 tools for productivity and outreach. Assist in managing licenses and subscriptions, ensuring compliance with organizational policies. Skills/Qualifications: Proven experience in managing Office 365 (administrative functions, security settings, user support). Strong understanding of Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Exchange Online. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Strong communication skills for training and support. Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and data protection. You’ll assist with the technical aspects of setting up webinars, managing attendee interactions, and troubleshooting any issues that arise during the event. Key Responsibilities: Assist in setting up webinar platforms (Zoom, Webex, etc.). Monitor chat, Q&A, and polls during the webinar, ensuring smooth participant interaction. Troubleshoot technical issues for both the host and participants during the webinar. Provide pre-webinar support such as setting up practice runs and testing audio/video. Help with recording the webinar and managing post-event tasks, including sending follow-up emails and materials to attendees. Key Responsibilities: Research and identify potential partners and collaborators in the sustainability and engineering sectors. Reach out to organizations, universities, and engineering firms to promote our events and services. Help organize and attend outreach events (virtual or in-person) to raise awareness of the nonprofit’s mission. Develop outreach materials, such as informational flyers, emails, and presentations. Maintain a contact database and track outreach progress. Skills/Qualifications: Excellent communication skills and confidence in reaching out to new contacts.
