Join The Center for Sustainable Journeys in Engineering and Innovation as an Office 365 Administrator Volunteer! This position plays a key role in maintaining and enhancing our digital workspace, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration across the organization.

Limitations: Due to current background screening and security protocols, we can only accept volunteer applicants from North America, South America, and the European Union. We are working to expand these capabilities and appreciate your understanding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and manage Office 365 services including user accounts, security settings, and system updates.

  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues related to Office 365 applications.

  • Implement best practices for data management, backup, and security within Office 365.

  • Provide technical support and training to team members as needed.

  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance the use of Office 365 tools for productivity and outreach.

  • Assist in managing licenses and subscriptions, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in managing Office 365 (administrative functions, security settings, user support).

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Exchange Online.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

  • Strong communication skills for training and support.

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and data protection.

Time Commitment:

5-10 hours per week, with a flexible schedule based on project needs.

Location: Remote, with occasional virtual meetings.
