Community Outreach VolunteersRole Overview:

Community Outreach Volunteers will be the ambassadors of The Center for Sustainable Journeys in Engineering and Innovation. You will help us build relationships with local businesses, universities, and organizations to expand our reach and impact.

• Research and identify potential partners and collaborators in the sustainability and engineering sectors.
• Reach out to organizations, universities, and engineering firms to promote our events and services.
• Help organize and attend outreach events (virtual or in-person) to raise awareness of the nonprofit’s mission.
• Develop outreach materials, such as informational flyers, emails, and presentations.
• Maintain a contact database and track outreach progress.

• Excellent communication skills and confidence in reaching out to new contacts.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with community stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple outreach efforts at once.
• Passion for sustainability and innovation is a plus.

• 5-10 hours per week, with flexible scheduling.
