Both options require approval and collaboration with the editorial team to ensure consistency with True Connection’s mission and brand. This role is perfect for skilled writers passionate about creating impactful, well-crafted content that resonates with a diverse audience. Key Responsibilities Edit, fact-check, and refine existing articles to improve clarity, tone, and alignment with organizational standards. Develop original, high-quality articles aligned with True Connection’s six pillars and mission. Conduct thorough research and ensure all content is accurate, well-supported, and engaging. Collaborate with the editorial team to incorporate feedback and finalize articles for publication. Adhere to deadlines and ensure all work maintains a consistent voice and brand identity. Qualifications Demonstrated ability to write or edit engaging, reader-friendly content. Strong research skills with confidence in sourcing credible references to support content. Experience in editing, rewriting, or refining existing materials for clarity and impact. Interest in or expertise within one or more of True Connection’s six pillars. Volunteers may choose to contribute in one or multiple areas depending on their interests and skills. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about mindful communication, editorial precision, and inspiring positive change through impactful storytelling. Key Responsibilities Edit and proofread articles to enhance clarity, tone, grammar, and structure, ensuring all content aligns with True Connection’s mission and six pillars. Verify the accuracy of data, references, and claims to uphold editorial integrity, cross-checking information using credible sources and ensuring proper citations. Provide constructive feedback to writers and content creators, collaborating with the editorial team to refine and finalize articles. Focus on specific areas of expertise if desired, such as climate communication, cultural storytelling, scientific accuracy, or mindful living messaging. Complete assigned reviews and edits within set deadlines to meet publication schedules. Qualifications Experience in communication, writing, or editing with strong command of language, grammar, and storytelling techniques. Attention to detail with the ability to catch inaccuracies or inconsistencies in text and data. Proficiency in research, with confidence in verifying facts and using credible sources. Strong collaborative skills and the ability to provide clear and constructive feedback. Passion for topics related to True Connection’s six pillars and alignment with the organization’s mission. This role involves automating the discovery, rewriting, and publishing of trending articles, as well as managing our email newsletters, website content, and social media posting. You’ll play a vital role in amplifying True Connection’s mission by ensuring efficient workflows and seamless content delivery across platforms. Key Responsibilities: Automation Setup and Management: Use Make.com to: Identify trending news relevant to our mission. Automate rewriting and formatting articles in True Connection’s brand voice. Publish articles daily on Resilient By Design. Schedule and post content on Facebook and Instagram. Compile and send weekly newsletters through Mailchimp, including the week’s articles. Content Calendar Creation: Develop a monthly content calendar for articles, social posts, and newsletters, to be approved by the team. Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Ensure all workflows are functioning seamlessly and address any issues promptly. Monitor performance metrics to improve content reach and engagement. Ongoing Optimization: Refine automation processes for efficiency and scalability. Propose innovative strategies for improving content delivery and audience engagement. Tools and Platforms: Make.com: Workflow automation. Mailchimp: Newsletter creation and distribution. Squarespace: Website management for Resilient By Design. Facebook and Instagram: Social media posting and engagement. Requirements: Proficiency with Make.com or similar automation tools.
