Provide Transportation and Grocery Shopping help for seniors. The Volunteer Center of Santa Cruz County Transportation and Grocery Shopper Program are unique programs where volunteer drivers and shoppers help out neighbors by providing rides and shopping assistance. The program matches drivers and shoppers with seniors and those with underlying health conditions so these vulnerable folks can stay safely sheltered at home, throughout Santa Cruz County. Drivers and Shoppers can choose to make as little as one trip a week, or they can shop as often as they wish. Volunteers connect with participants to be able to choose their own hours. Please help us provide much needed transportation to our older adult friends and assist us in reducing food insecurity in our community by being a Volunteer. Must be vaccinated against Covid-19
