Minor Reparis Make A Major Difference
Helping Hands is a Program of the Monterey Bay Retired Senior Program and the Volunteer Center of Santa Cruz. It is a year round program providing minor home repairs to low-income senior homeowner, repairs that might otherwise cause injuries and accidents.
Volunteer provide free of charge to the homeowner, minor home repairs such as installing grab bars, repairing broken steps and hand rail, replacing light switched, and smoke alarms.
Terms: Car Required - Must Provide Own Transportation
Other Information Requested of Volunteers: Must have tools and transportation.

Description
RSVP volunteers, aged 55+, choose how, where, and how often they want to serve. They can choose opportunities that best fit their active lifestyles and use skills they have honed throughout their life. Monterey Bay RSVP fits volunteer opportunities to specific interests and needs of persons 55 and older. Placements are made in over 120 local non-profit agencies.
