Are you 55+? Stay Active and Engaged! Join RSVP and be a volunteer coach for our RSVP Fall Prevention Program for seniors thorough-out the tri-county area, Serving Santa Cruz, Monterey, and San Benito Counties
The RSVP Fall Prevention Program is currently seeking volunteer coaches who would like to be trained to bring Fall Prevention Tips and Exercises to seniors. Our Matter of Balance Coaches help facilitate fall prevention tips and exercises over a four week course.
To become a coach, we hold two 4hr training sessions. Once trained we will help to support you facilitate a 4 week long course consisting of two 2hr classes a week.

Description
RSVP volunteers, aged 55+, choose how, where, and how often they want to serve. They can choose opportunities that best fit their active lifestyles and use skills they have honed throughout their life. Monterey Bay RSVP fits volunteer opportunities to specific interests and needs of persons 55 and older. Placements are made in over 120 local non-profit agencies.

- There is an 8 hour training separated into two sessions. Once the training is complete, the fall prevention courses are over the span of four weeks. The classes are twice a week for two hours.
