The Secretary of the Pinnacles National Park Foundation records the proceedings of all meetings of the Board of Directors, conducts the correspondence of the organization, maintains organizational records (including all materials presented at meetings), and performs other duties as assigned by the President or the Board of Directors. The Secretary records attendance, decisions, and action items and distributes a record of each meeting within one week of the meeting date; if the Secretary is not in attendance, the President or another Board member designated by the President will be responsible for these notes. The board currently meets in regular meetings 6 times a year, on Wednesday evenings, in alternate months, with informal board conversations on Friday mornings in the other months. We generally meet by Zoom, although about once a year, we try to have an in-person retreat at the Park. There could be some flexibility to accommodate a secretary's schedule, but willingness to commit to a meeting schedule one year in advance is important. Please contact us for more details if interested; serious inquiries only. The secretary must hold U.S. Citizenship and likely will need to reside in the U.S.
