We aim to uplift those experiencing homelessness, poverty, and food insecurity by providing vital resources, from nutritious meals to housing assistance, seasonal events, and in-kind donations. Role Summary: We are seeking a passionate and creative Volunteer Videographer to join us for a limited-time project. You will help craft a series of branded videos to showcase our programs, community impact, and the stories of those we serve. These videos will be used for outreach, donor engagement, social media, and community awareness campaigns. Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the leadership team to plan and execute a video series that highlights the organization’s key programs and services, including: - Film and edit compelling video content that captures the essence of our mission and the stories of those we support. - Interview program beneficiaries, volunteers, and team members to authentically convey the impact of our work. - Ensure all video content is consistent with the organization’s branding and messaging. - Use creative visuals and storytelling techniques to engage potential donors, volunteers, and the wider community. - Collaborate on distribution strategies for social media, website, and outreach channels. - Manage equipment and post-production editing to ensure timely delivery of video content. Position Summary: Milford Advocacy for the Homeless is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Welcome Home Program Coordinator to lead the initiative aimed at supporting individuals and families transitioning from homelessness to housing stability. As the Team Coordinator, you will oversee all aspects of the Welcome Home Program, ensuring participants receive essential home goods and resources to start their new chapter with dignity. The Coordinator will be responsible for program management, collaboration with community partners, resource management, volunteer coordination, and overseeing the logistics of moving donated items to new homes. Key Responsibilities: Program Management: Support program goals, timeline, and target demographics to meet the specific needs of individuals and families transitioning into new homes. Research essential household items and develop a standard inventory list for the move-in program. Ensure the smooth day-to-day execution of the program, addressing participant needs, logistics, and overall efficiency. Community Collaboration: Build strong relationships with community partners Collaborate with donors, sponsors, and community partners to secure, in-kind donations, and essential goods for the program. Represent the program in community forums, advocacy groups, and events to raise awareness and garner additional support. Resource Management: Oversee the storage, organization, and distribution of items in coordination with the In-Kind Donations Team Lead. Maintain an updated inventory of all donated goods and ensure that items for move-ins are complete and ready for distribution and the output of where, when and to whom inventory was distributed. Efficiently manage the procurement and delivery of household essentials to participants, meeting both immediate and long-term needs. Program Implementation: Coordinate logistics for move-in support, ensuring timely delivery of goods to program participants. Schedule and manage volunteers for item assembly, transport, and outreach efforts. Provide personalized support to participants during the move-in process, addressing questions and assisting them with their transition. Moving Team Oversight: Lead and coordinate the moving team, responsible for transporting donated items from storage to the homes of program participants. Ensure that the moving team follows a schedule for timely pickups and deliveries. Oversee the loading, transport, and unloading of household items, ensuring proper handling and safety measures. Collaborate with the team to create an efficient process for moving large items, such as furniture and appliances, as well as smaller household essentials. Serve as the primary point of contact between the moving team and program participants, ensuring seamless communication during the move-in process. Evaluation and Reporting: Create and implement evaluation metrics to assess the effectiveness of the Welcome Home Program. Collect feedback from participants, volunteers, and stakeholders to continuously improve the program. Provide monthly reports on program outcomes, participant satisfaction, and recommendations to the In-Kind Donations Team Lead and leadership team. Qualifications: Proven experience in program management, community outreach, or volunteer coordination. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with an ability to manage timelines and deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and partnerships across various sectors. Experience in logistics or coordination of transportation is a plus. Regularly inventory donated items to track available resources and identify gaps in inventory for specific needs and reporting them to the In-Kind Donation Team Leads. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, digital marketing, and community advocacy. Key Responsibilities: Social Media Management: Manage Milford Advocacy’s social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.), ensuring regular, meaningful engagement with the community. Create, schedule, and publish posts that highlight the organization’s events, volunteer opportunities, and success stories. Content Creation: Develop and produce high-quality, visually appealing content for social media, the website, newsletters, and blog posts. Content will include images, graphics, videos, and written content that align with Milford Advocacy’s mission and voice. Job Description: Our Daily Bread Power Pak Team Lead Location: Milford, Delaware Employment Type: Volunteer Position Summary: Milford Advocacy for the Homeless is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Power Pak Team Lead to oversee the Power Pak team. This team provides brunch power paks to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity every weekend, holiday, and on days when Brandywine is closed which is essential for adequate nutrition.The Team Lead will oversee the logistics, volunteers, and operations, ensuring a seamless experience for program participants. Key Responsibilities: Volunteer Scheduling and Coordination Maintain an up-to-date schedule of weekend brunch providers on Google Drive, accessible to team members for planning and record-keeping. Post available dates in the Our Daily Bread Private Facebook Group and the MAH public Facebook Page to recruit new volunteers. Track recurring commitments (e.g., weekly, monthly) and log them in the schedule for efficient volunteer management. Send reminders and specific details to volunteers about upcoming commitments. Pre-Event Preparation Ensure team members confirm their specific date/meal for each power pak and identify any items needed from the kitchen pantry for the upcoming weekend. Collaborate with the In-Kind Donations Team Lead to include one pair of socks per power pak for each recipient. Arrange for the timely delivery or pickup of necessary supplies (e.g., napkins, utensils, paper bags, juice, snacks, etc.) from the pantry. Team Member Support and Coordination Work with volunteers to customize power paks, ensuring all necessary items are included, such as: Protein breakfast/lunch sandwich or wrap/casserole Muffin, pastry, or protein/breakfast bar Snack and bottled juice or fruit Case of 24 water bottles Individually bagged socks (one pair per recipient) Coordinate grocery orders based on team member requests and pantry stock. Day-of Brunch Coordination Confirm delivery timing and instructions with each team member to ensure paks arrive at Brandywine no later than 11:00 a.m. on their scheduled date. Ensure that each delivery is photographed, with photos posted to the Our Daily Bread Kitchen Private Facebook Group for record-keeping. Support occasional public sharing of photos on the MAH Facebook Page to promote the program. Post-Event Duties Update the volunteer and meal tracking spreadsheet with details from the weekend by month’s end. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of supplies used, volunteer contributions, and deliveries. Qualifications: Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate logistics effectively. Experience working with vulnerable populations is preferred, with a compassionate and respectful approach. Proficiency with Google Drive, especially in managing shared spreadsheets.
