Job Overview: As a Human Resources Generalist at Menzies Mission, you will play a crucial role in supporting our mission by managing various HR functions. You will be responsible for tasks ranging from recruitment and employee relations to performance management and compliance. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can effectively collaborate with different teams to ensure the smooth operation of HR processes. Key Responsibilities: Lead Recruitment and Onboarding program. Create job postings tailored to attract qualified candidates for various positions within the organization. Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers. Lead the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization. Partner with organizational leaders to assess workforce needs and implement strategic talent solutions, encompassing talent acquisition, and career development initiatives. Serve as a resource for volunteers and managers on HR-related matters, including policies, procedures, and employment laws. Address volunteer/employee relations issues promptly and effectively, fostering a positive work environment and minimizing conflicts. Oversee the administration of volunteer/employee administrations. Ensure compliance with U.S. federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 2+ years of experience in HR roles, preferably in a non-profit or similar environment. Strong understanding of United States HR principles, practices, and regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion. Proficiency in HRIS software and MS Office Suite. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
