The Seacoast Squadron of New Hampshire Wing, Civil Air Patrol is looking for people interested in radio communications to donate their time as a part of the all-volunteer Auxiliary of the United States Air Force. Our nationwide, point-to-point radio communications network is used on both an operational and emergency basis to support CAP operations and the State of New Hampshire. Radio communicators employ both short-range VHF and longer-range VHF communications to accomplish the missions of CAP each week around the Granite State. Training for radio operators is available, Becoming a fully trained and skilled CAP radio operator for emergency response requires in-depth training in CAP emergency operations, frequent participation in state, region & national radio nets, and participation in occasional weekend exercises. If you’re up for the task, CAP offers ordinary citizens unique training and service opportunities in your local community. Our logisticians manage the acquisition, inventory, storage, and disbursement of Civil Air Patrol-owned materials, including but not limited to cadet uniforms & insignia, electronic and communications equipment, trailers, and vehicles, used in the furtherance of the Civil Air Patrol missions. Effective use of available resources is a necessary task, and even doubly so in a resource-limited non-profit organization. If you’re up for the task, CAP offers ordinary citizens unique training and service opportunities in your local community. The New Hampshire Wing, Civil Air Patrol, the all-volunteer Auxiliary of the United States Air Force, is seeking an experienced grant writer to assist in obtaining and renewing various state & federal grants related to the missions of the Civil Air Patrol (CAP). CAP is a non-profit organization, and as such relies heavily on donations, grants, and other forms of fundraising to accomplish its mission. If you’re up to the challenge, CAP can provide you with a fantastic opportunity to take your grant writing skills to the next level. Specifically, we are seeking grant opportunities that pertain to ADA compliance modifications to facilities for non-profits. Our headquarters staff meets once a month on the 3rd Wednesday, virtually during the pandemic. Qualifications: Experience in non-profit grant writing. The Seacoast Squadron of New Hampshire Wing, Civil Air Patrol is looking for Pilots & CFIs to become part of the all-volunteer Auxiliary of the United States Air Force. If you’re a pilot, Civil Air Patrol (CAP) has plenty of opportunities for you. CAP operates the largest fleet of single-engine piston aircraft in the world, primarily Cessna 172s and 182s, and CAP pilots fly those planes to perform missions in service to their local communities such as search & rescue, disaster assessment, cadet orientation flying, and U.S. Air Force support. If you’re a CFI, CAP is working with the U.S. Air Force to provide additional flight training opportunities to young men and women interested in becoming pilots. Civil Air Patrol CFIs also train fellow member pilots for upgrades such as TAA (Garmin G-1000 glass), instrument, and commercial ratings. Becoming a CAP mission pilot, instructor, or check pilot requires in-depth training in CAP flight operations and a volunteer commitment of regular training meetings and occasional weekend search and rescue exercises, which can take up to a year to accomplish. If you’re up for the task, CAP offers ordinary citizens stimulating training opportunities that few experience outside the military. The Seacoast Squadron is training and preparing its members in the skills necessary to meet our mission of providing important services to our communities in a time of need. The Seacoast Squadron of New Hampshire Wing Civil Air Patrol is looking for people interested in becoming Airborne Photographers or Aerial Observers to serve their community as a member of the all-volunteer Auxiliary of the United States Air Force. Airborne Photographers & Aerial Observers train as members of Civil Air Patrol (CAP) flight crews that are tasked with aerial photography, airborne search, or disaster assessment missions. Photographers and aircrew members act additional eyes in the sky, conducting visual searches and other duties as assigned. This aircrew specialty requires in-depth training in CAP operations and a volunteer commitment of regular training meetings and occasional weekend training exercises, which can take up to a year to accomplish. If you’re up for the task, CAP offers ordinary citizens stimulating training opportunities that few people experience outside the military.
