We provide dynamic educational experiences through events, programs, and online initiatives. Our founder recently received a National Science Foundation SBIR award for developing an AI-powered student workforce development technology, Learn Collaborate. About the Position (U.S. BASED VOLUNTEERS ONLY) We are seeking a passionate and experienced Digital Marketing Strategist to design and develop a comprehensive marketing strategy to promote B~STEM Project and its groundbreaking work in STEM education, with a focus on their new student workforce development platform. This is a strategic role focused on planning and creation, not implementation. If you are also interested in implementation we're open to that discussion as well. However, it is not required for this current volunteer position. Responsibilities: Strategy Development: Develop a multi-channel digital marketing strategy encompassing press releases, social media content, blog posts, online publications, podcasts, and influencer outreach. Identify and prioritize target audiences for B~STEM Project and Learn Collaborate. Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and a framework for measuring the success and impact of the strategy (website traffic, social media engagement, media mentions, etc.). Create a phased rollout plan with timelines and milestones, outlining the sequence of marketing activities for both short-term impact and long-term growth. Content Creation: Draft compelling press releases highlighting the NSF SBIR award and the impact of Learn Collaborate. Create engaging content for various online platforms (website, social media, blogs) tailored to different audiences. Research and identify relevant online publications, podcasts, and influencers in the fields of innovation, education, edtech, the skilled economy, diversity, workforce development, and project management. Long-Term Vision: Develop a sustainable content calendar and engagement strategy for ongoing promotion of B~STEM Project and Learn Collaborate. Outline recommendations for building an online community and fostering engagement. Provide a framework for ongoing analysis and improvement of the strategy based on performance data. Hello Community! We're seeking a dedicated volunteer ( U.S. BASED ONLY) to lead user testing for an exciting new edtech software. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain practical experience in usability testing and contribute to a product that will impact how students and educators learn. What You'll Do: Recruit user testers: Resource 15-20 college students (ages 17-30) and 5-10 college professors/instructors. Facilitate testing sessions: Conduct 30-45 minute sessions via Zoom or other suitable methods. Analyze and report: Compile a comprehensive usability report with key findings, insights, and recommendations for improvement. This report should specifically highlight: What's working well: Identify the strengths of the design and features that users find intuitive and effective. What's not working: Pinpoint pain points, areas of confusion, and any usability issues encountered by users. Suggestions for improvement: Provide concrete, actionable recommendations based on user feedback to enhance the product's usability and user experience. Responsibilities: Collaborate with our team to define clear testing goals and objectives. Identify and recruit representative user testers. Conduct user testing sessions, observing user interactions and gathering feedback. Analyze testing data to identify usability issues and prioritize them based on severity and impact. Qualifications: Strong interest in usability testing and user-centered design. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with the Maze user testing platform is strongly preferred. Experience with user research or testing is a plus.
