The mission of Sacred Journey Hospice is to provide compassionate physical, emotional and spiritual support to patients and families while enabling them to live with dignity and comfort as they cope with issues related to a life-limiting illness.

Description

Sacred Journey Hospice provides care to patients who have a terminal illness and their families. We visit patients in their homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, our 24/7 inpatient unit or wherever else they may be to provide care on a huge spectrum. We provide for medical, therapuetic (physical, speech, emotional, etc), equipment, medication, supplies, spiritual, social, daily living, veteran and many other needs. Volunteers are a HUGE part of our patient care goals.

I am disabled,but I am very responsible very compassionate person,and there is not much of anything that bothers me,blood or yuck.I took care of my mother for five years,she had multiple myeloma bone cancer, and volvular cancer,chemo for years,marrow transplants,and radation.and I have a son with a disability cmt1a,I have had 19 surgeries of my own over the years.so needles to say I know quite a bit and I think I could be very helpful.
