Be prepared to respond to emergencies on a 24/7 basis; Keep track of medical documents, reports, and statistics; Provide education to the local community on proper health practices; Help clean the clinic, shared spaces, and rooms; Help cook meals; Assist with shopping for groceries, basic household items, and medication. Responsibilities Direct Patient Care: Provide comprehensive care to patients across a range of conditions, including primary care and emergency care. Medical Leadership: Lead clinic operations, including managing patient care, coordinating with other medical staff, and ensuring continuity of care. Be the key point of contact for medical decision-making and problem-solving. Emergency Response: Be available for emergency calls and critical care situations, responding promptly to patient needs. This could involve making decisions under pressure in resource-limited settings. Mentorship & Training: Provide ongoing mentorship and training to medical volunteers. Organize educational sessions and case reviews to foster professional development and enhance clinical knowledge among team members. Project Involvement: Contribute to or lead research, quality improvement, or program development projects. Skills & Requirements Be a registered Doctor in origin Country Experience: At least 1 year of experience in similar positions. Required start date is the 1st of January 2025. Availability: Be available on a 24/7 basis for emergencies and critical situations. Your presence is crucial in ensuring continuous patient care and clinical leadership.
