- Direct Patient Care: Provide comprehensive care to patients across a range of conditions, including primary care and emergency care. Ensure that the highest standards of care are maintained despite limited resources and referral options.
- Clinical Oversight: Supervise and mentor medical volunteers, ensuring safe, ethical, and effective care is provided. Guide medical students and volunteers in their development, encouraging hands-on learning and accountability.
- Cultural Sensitivity: Work closely with local communities, respecting and adapting to their cultural practices. Tailor healthcare plans to fit the cultural and social context of patients.
- Medical Leadership: Lead clinic operations, including managing patient care, coordinating with other medical staff, and ensuring continuity of care. Be the key point of contact for medical decision-making and problem-solving.
- Emergency Response: Be available for emergency calls and critical care situations, responding promptly to patient needs. This could involve making decisions under pressure in resource-limited settings.
- Mentorship & Training: Provide ongoing mentorship and training to medical volunteers. Organize educational sessions and case reviews to foster professional development and enhance clinical knowledge among team members.
- Project Involvement: Contribute to or lead research, quality improvement, or program development projects. Ensure all projects align with Health & Help’s goals to improve care delivery and community health outcomes.
- Be a registered Doctor in origin Country
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in similar positions.
- Required start date is the 1st of January 2025.
- Availability: Be available on a 24/7 basis for emergencies and critical situations. Your presence is crucial in ensuring continuous patient care and clinical leadership.
- Leadership & Responsibility: Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism, dedication, and accountability. Take ownership of your role and decisions, always striving to uphold Health & Help’s mission.
- Communication: Maintain open, clear, and consistent communication with your team, including volunteers, other medical staff, and administrative personnel. Provide timely updates and respond to concerns professionally and effectively.

Health & Help assists people in places where it is difficult or impossible to access basic medical care. We do this through the effort and resources put forth by volunteers and donors. We improve by helping others.
Description
What do we do?
- Provide access to basic medical services and prescriptions in places with limited resources.
- Hold educational lectures about health and ways to prevent illness in the future.
- Develop and implement medical programs, provide medical students with the opportunity to get hands-on experience under the guidance of skilled doctors.
- Prepare volunteers for their time on site at the clinics, as well as help all employees learn and grow.
Where?
In regions with limited resources, where medical care does not exist or is extremely underdeveloped (lacking sufficient personnel, equipment, medicine).
How?
- The clinics have medical specialists and volunteers in other professions from different countries working 24/7. Dozens of volunteers from all over the world work for the project online.
- We talk openly about life in the clinics and share our experience as a charitable organization.

- For underprotected and discriminated groups within the population. For those who cannot pay for treatment or buy medications because it is too expensive or simply not available.
