As an senior R&D engineer working on the Engineering team, you will develop solutions and products addressing unique transportation, power, and communications challenges faced by JAARS staff and partners working at the Last Mile of Missions. Our Systems Administrator is responsible to maintain, change, upgrade and propose ways that our systems can enable JAARS personnel to meet our goals and mission. Duties include administering the system(s) to ensure the analytics, design, development, testing, troubleshooting, implementation, documentation, maintenance and integration of other systems. This position works closely with the different Advisory team, other systems team members, business analysts, vendors, and key users to identify, evaluate and implement new functionalities. This is a full time volunteer/supported position and a member of the Information & Digital Technologies team reporting to the Systems Manager. Position Responsibilities Create and maintain fields, views, reports, dashboards, and other application functions. Researches system issues and head up problem-solving initiatives. Assists with use/test case development and work with others to test & accept new functionality. Point of contact for determining & prioritizing change requests and customizations. Sets up and manages end-users and profile roles, and other administration tasks. Documents configurations, data models and core processes. Creates and maintains new workflows, functions, and configurations. Creates requirements for system integrations and enhancements. Trains end-users in standard functionality while providing training for new processes. And other responsibilities as assigned. Position Requirements First and foremost, must have a deep and growing walk with the Lord Jesus. Committed to the Vision and Mission of JAARS. Has a servant heart attitude. Certification is a plus. Experience with using systems to grow an organization. Extensive experience as a business analysis or related role. Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field. MBA and/or relevant graduate degree desirable.
