Bideawee needs volunteer drivers! Our dogs and cats need a chaffeur - can you lend a hand? We need your help driving animals to and from our locations - NYC, Wantagh and Westhampton (although not necessarily to all three places all in one day!) We can only accept volunteers who have their own vehicle to get to our Wantagh location to pick up the van. Drivers must have a clean driving record and be available on weekday mornings (usually between 9am and 12:30pm.) This may not be a weekly opportunity - as needed. If you are interested, please fill out an application. https://bttr.im/w6avy

Bideawee’s Wantagh location is primarily an intake and medical facility with limited adoptions. Here, volunteers (ages 18 and older) help with cleaning, laundry, making enrichment toys, and socializing and interacting with the animals when they are healthy to do so. We could also use your help at events! While we need your help, there is no guarantee animals are part of every shift at this site. We require one shift per week (2 hours.) Due to the nature of work here and the number of animals we generally have onsite at a time, only those who can commit to more than six months will be considered. Weekday help during the day is our biggest need at this time. https://bttr.im/w6avy
