Are you passionate about marketing, social media, storytellingand making a positive impact? Join our team as a Marketing & Development Intern and contribute to our mission to support and empower people with disabilities through our life-changing programs.! As a Marketing & Development Intern at The Arc of San Diego, you’ll work side-by-side with our marketing team to gain hands-on experience in implementing marketing strategies, fundraising, and community outreach. You will; Collaborate with our marketing team to establish and maintain editorial calendars Track and analyze social media trends and outcomes to optimize our strategies. Develop and publish engaging content across various social media platforms. Generate compelling visual and written content for online and print publications (newsletters, flyers, presentations). Engage with potential and current donors. Identify funding sources (grants, donors). Complete grant materials. Support special events coordination (Golf tournament, fashion show, gala). This internship is an on-site, in-person position. While this is an unpaid internship, you will have the opportunity to acquire real-world marketing skills and contribute to a meaningful cause. Interns typically work 4-hour shifts 2-3 times per week during our 8 am - 5 pm office hours. The minimum commitment is 3 months. Interested? Front desk help needed now! Support people with disabilities by volunteering at The Arc of San Diego. Every day people with disabilities call or visit our center looking for programs that may change their lives and help them thrive. You can be the cheerful face that greets our guests, clients, and staff as they arrive at our facilities or the friendly voice that connects people to the life-changing services we offer. Your assistance will help us direct and orient our visitors and callers properly. Front Desk Assistant responsibilities include Check-in visitors, staff, & clients Answer telephone and connect callers to the appropriate team member Performs filing, mailing, and other clerical duties as assigned other duties and projects as assigned Assistance is needed 5 days/week from Monday to Friday from 2 pm to 4:30 pm But you can choose 2 or 3 days to help. We are Located at The Sulpizio Family Center at 3030 Market Street in San Diego. Training will be provided. This is an ongoing opportunity with a minimum commitment of 3 months or more. Are you considering a career in non-profit fundraising. As a Fund Development Intern at The Arc of San diego you will assist in the implementation of The Arc’s Development Plan by researching, developing, and securing grant and funding sources at one of the largest non-profits in the region. You will: Steward potential and current donors Identify potential funding sources (i.e. grants, donors) Assist in the completion of grant materials Support staff with coordinating special events Please Note; this internship is an unpaid volunteer opportunity and it is an on-site, in-person position. Office hours are 8 am - 5 pm Monday - Friday. Interns typically work 4-6 hour shifts 2-3 times per week for a minimum of 3 months.
