GREAT ORGANIZATION THAT HELPS OLDER ADULTS IN TOO MANY WAYS TO MENTION. SUCH A VARIETY OF VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES.

The staff at the Council for Older Adults genuinely cares about its clients and its volunteers. I have worked with the Council for almost a year and a half in a variety of positions, from meal deliveries to office assistance and working "special events" to offer support to our growing older community members. One of the best reasons I have become so active and committed to the Council is the way in which I am treated. I am always shown respect and given appreciation for the work I do to assist in the activities of this outstanding organization. Being told and shown that the work and time I donate is of value means a great deal to me. Providing and assisting older adults with the resources they need to remain in their homes is very gratifying. I feel that in giving whatever time, skills and services I have, I am paying ahead for what I may need one day. I will continue to volunteer with the Council for as long as I am physically able. Volunteers make a "huge" difference!
