Position & Responsibilities Role Summary The Criminal Legal Advocate is responsible for attending court in St. Paul and relays information about crmininal domestic assault cases to the clients involved. Impact & Benefits Assist clients in navigating the court process, which can be confusing and intimidating Learn about domestic violence and the criminal court process and, depending on the team needs, the civil court process Provide information and support to clients through other resources and referrals as needed Position Responsibilities Case preparation for court hearings Attend court hearings and communicate input to the judge/prosecutor hnadling the cases Talk with clients in court if they ar epresent, or by hone, prvoding information, support, safety planning, and assistance in understanding the court process Document ourcomes of the court appearances and complete all necessary follow-up and data entry Depending on need, assist clients with writing OFPs and follow up with the Service Center/Court Administration and Sheriff's Department to complete the filing process Qualifications & Expectations Position Qualifications Demonstrated interest and understanding the complex dynamics of domestic violence, the court system and legal terminology preferrd Able to work independently and communicate with staff about workload Excellent communication skills, including active listening skills and ability to respond without judgment to client needs, reacting appropriately with empathy and respect Demonstrated ability to maintain appropriate professional boundaries and confidentiality Ability to work with diverse teams and clients to foster a culturally inclusive envrionment Must have own transportation and driver's license Must have computer and internet suggicient to work remotely as necessary Must have a smart phone and be able to use Google Voice to call and receive calls from clients Time Commitment & Availability Two 8-hour days per week required; must be able to start at 7:30 a.m. A minimum of 9 month preferred Weekday, daytime availability required Supervision & Training Attend Tubman's five-part Volunteer/Intern Orientation and Training series Supervision provided by the Legal Services Team

Do you feel at ease speaking with people about something you care about? Don’t have a lot of time to do traditional volunteering? Consider volunteering at part of Tubman’s Starlight Soirée Auction Committee! The Starlight Soirée is Tubman’s annual gala to honor survivors’ journeys from fear to freedom and to celebrate the generous donors who support our mission. Auction Committee members are asked to leverage personal and/or professional networks to generate event support through financial or in-kind contributions which include auction items, gift cards, wine, and growlers. Starlight Soirée Auction Committee members are also encouraged to strategize with Tubman staff to help engage potential event sponsors. We are looking for passionate committee members to help us create an amazing event. The 2025 Starlight Soirée will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025. This position is independent with monthly Committee meetings. All Committee Meetings will be held virtually, unless otherwise directed.

Position & Responsibilities Role Summary Mental Health Interns become part of a multi-disciplinary team serving at the community mental health clinic at Tubman Chrysalis in South Minneapolis. Interns work with individual clients and co-facilitate groups, working alongside staff who represent a wide range of therapeutic styles and conceptual frameworks. Position & Responsibilities Role Summary The Safety Project Intern connects low-income victims of domestic violence with attorneys to represent them in their Order for Protection cases. The Safety Project intern assists Tubman staff with administrative tasks such as processing client intake referrals, data entry, tracking volunteer attorney participation, and client evaluations.
