Give a Lift: Help Older Adults in Your Community Get to Important Appointments

Volunteer Drivers are the KEY to independence and safety for our older neighbors who are no longer able to drive. Help older adults and disabled individuals throughout Livingston County remain independent in their own homes by providing rides to the doctor and other vital appointments. Volunteers pick clients up at their homes and drive them to appointments. Enjoy socializing with homebound people who look forward to an outing. Assist those who need extra help by escorting them into buildings. Pick up client at appointed time to return home. Flexible assignments. FREE Training is provided in certain areas. RSVP volunteers receive supplemental accident and liability insurance coverage at no cost while volunteering. Partial mileage reimbursement may be available to eligible volunteers. Car Required

Deliver a Meal & a Smile

Flexible Schedule | Mt. Morris, NY 14510

Volunteers are the driving force of the home delivered meals program. By giving just an hour or two of your time offering a warm healthy meal and a smile, you can make a difference in the lives of those who need you. Volunteers needed in the Dansville and Avon areas. Additionally, we need to increase our driver pool - consider being a "sub" so that we have coverage during vacation season! Summer or winter! Volunteers are also needed to help out local food pantries especially in the Avon and Mt. Morris area to sort food, stock shelves, and serve clients. RSVP volunteers who volunteer are covered by supplemental accident and liability insurance, and may qualify for other benefits. RSVP volunteers must undergo orientation prior to placement.
