Mission Statement

We are a 100% volunteer, no-kill animal refuge and adoption center. We rescue abandoned and abused cats and dogs, provide them with a home and good medical care until they are adopted. We are strong supporters of neuter/spay.

Description

We need volunteers to become involved with the care of our four legged friends at the shelter. We also want volunteers to get to know the residents living at our shelter. Socialization is a key to the quick adoption. We need help setting up and running fundraisers including our recycling program. Must be 18 years old or older to volunteer. If you are under 18 a parent or guardian must sign a form for you giving you permission to volunteer. Volunteers are needed mornings, afternoons and evenings - seven days a week.

Misleading, I sent 12 handcrafted necklaces and received no feedback of receipt by this organization. Package sent was left on front porch as the shipper stated, I thought it was an organization that was a business, now I’m not sure what it is.

I stopped next door to get my car fixed when I noticed the shelter. The people there were warm and welcoming. They showed me around all the rooms, I have never seen so many cats. That evening I called to set an appointment for the next day, Easter Sunday to visit with a friend, who was interested in adopting a cat. After several minutes she found the one she wanted, filled out the forms and went back the next day and adopted her Easter Lily. What great folks, giving of their time, dedicated to what they are doing. I even put them on my Facebook page. If you are looking for a cat or kitten, go see them, nice people.
