We are in need of shift leads for our dogs on our AM shift Mondays and Fridays and also on the Wednesday PM shift. There will also be opportunities to fill in on other shifts when people are on vacation or out sick. Requirements are you love animals, have a strong desire to help them and are dependable. Responsibilities include cleaning their runs, feeding, administering medicine if needed and playing with them in our yards. You will be trained by an experienced dog person until you get to know the dogs and they get to know you. The weekly commitment is approximately 3 hours per shift and it is up to you to decide how much time you would like to devote beyond that one shift. If you are truly interested in helping please email us athaveaheartt@yahoo.com. We would love to welcome you to our group. Include your telephone number if you would like someone to contact you prior to your coming into the shelter the first time.

Mission Statement
We are a 100% volunteer, no-kill animal refuge and adoption center. We rescue abandoned and abused cats and dogs, provide them with a home and good medical care until they are adopted. We are strong supporters of neuter/spay.
Description
We need volunteers to become involved with the care of our four legged friends at the shelter. We also want volunteers to get to know the residents living at our shelter. Socialization is a key to the quick adoption. We need help setting up and running fundraisers including our recycling program. Must be 18 years old or older to volunteer. If you are under 18 a parent or guardian must sign a form for you giving you permission to volunteer. Volunteers are needed mornings, afternoons and evenings - seven days a week.
