Our MISSION is twofold: •A priority is to provide support for our members' professional growth and career enhancement. •Seeking to improve health care & services in communities throughout New York and advocacy for underserved communities in Sierra Leone, Africa. SLNA NYT aims to improve the quality of health care by educating on healthcare disparities such as diabetes, hypertension, malnutrition, asthma, stroke & heart disease, non communicable diseases ,Malaria, thyphoid, HIV/AIDS, maternal- infant mortality, Tuberculosis and other preventable diseases by: ◾Providing medical equipment and supplieshealth care centers. ◾️Health fairs & community outreach on various health education topics ◾Recycling and utilizing surplus medical equipment from the USA to which can be sent Sierra Leone.

A 501c3 Non-profit organization comprised of Sierra Leonean Healthcare Professionals who aim to make a difference in the lives of those in need. Through volunteering and community service, the SLNA NYT aims to help the disadvantaged, marginalized, at-risk, and underserved communities.
