Giving Love Outreach is seeking an experienced, passionate Community Outreach Volunteer to join our mission of empowering youth and building stronger communities. As a Community Outreach Volunteer, you’ll play a critical role in raising awareness about the GLO initiatives, connecting our nonprofit to local businesses, schools, and organizations, fostering partnerships that help expand our impact. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses, schools, and other organizations to build a network of community partners. Represent Giving Love Outreach at community events, meetings, and networking opportunities to raise awareness of our programs. Collaborate with the outreach team to strategize and execute community engagement initiatives. Communicate the nonprofit's mission, goals, and program offerings to potential community partners and supporters. Collect and report feedback from community interactions to help improve and adapt outreach strategies. Ideal Candidate: Previous experience in community outreach, public relations, or a related field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse community members and partners. Self-motivated, organized, and passionate about making a difference in the community. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with our team. Fundraising & Events Volunteers - Assist in organizing events and campaigns to raise funds and awareness for our programs. Community Outreach Volunteers - Build connections with local organizations, schools, and families to expand our reach. Youth Mentors or Program Specialists - Work directly with children to provide guidance, mentorship, and skills training. Administrative Support Volunteers - Help with essential behind-the-scenes tasks like data entry, scheduling, and communications. Graphic Design & Media Volunteers - Create engaging visuals and content to showcase our work and inspire others. Grant Writers - Assist in writing proposals to secure funding for our programs. Event Support Staff - Lend a hand during community events, helping with logistics and ensuring everything runs smoothly.
