To foster the advancement of all forms of water-media painting and promote the highest levels of excellence in the use of these media. To inform and educate the general public about the use of water-media painting and encourage and promote the study of these varied media. To provide an exchange of information among artists working with these tools and always combine camaraderie with creativity.

Description

The Central Virginia Watercolor Guild was formed in 1991 by several local artists. It meets monthly at the Church of Our Savior on Rio Road. The Guild welcomes artists at all levels and strives to educate and improve water media skills through demonstrations, lectures, and occasional museum trips.
