Volunteers should be proficient at developing applications for the Android ecosystem and have experience deploying apps to Google’s Play Store. Knowledge of deployment to the Google Play Store is necessary. Responsibilities for this include: Assist in the identification and planning of new or scheduled features Help develop application program interfaces to support mobile functionality Work with the team to innovate the platform design and functionality Recommend and design new mobile applications, products and protocols Design and implement unit and UI tests to identify and fix bugs

If you’re experienced in frontend web engineering and interested in leveraging technology to make a positive impact, this role offers a unique opportunity to be part of something meaningful. Volunteers will be among the first members of our engineering team, working directly with our founders to bring nenos to life. Collaborate on design and development of a new custom website for nenos using modern web development practices Help develop a custom website, integrating a CMS for blog posts and a few user-fillable forms Implement components and functionality using frameworks like Node.js, Vue, and/or React Use HTML, CSS, and Git to develop responsive, accessible, and intuitive web interfaces Qualifications: Experience with one or more web frontend frameworks: Node.js, Vue, and/or React Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and Git version control A good eye for design and the ability to create user-friendly interfaces Interest in digital literacy, online safety, and fostering community engagement Familiarity with Netlify, GitHub Actions, and CMS tools is a plus

This opportunity is virtual and will require 5-7 hours of time commitment annually. nenos is a startup social media nonprofit corporation (pending 501[c][3] status) based in Tampa, Florida. Our mission is amplifying local voices and fostering authentic connections through our platform, empowering individuals to shape vibrant communities and drive positive change. Our Board of Directors is responsible for providing oversight, accountability, and direction to the corporation. Primary responsibilities and duties include: Determine the mission and vision of nenos Inc. This opportunity is virtual and will require 3-5 hours of time commitment annually. nenos is a startup social media nonprofit corporation (pending 501[c][3] status) based in Tampa, Florida. Our mission is amplifying local voices and fostering authentic connections through our platform, empowering individuals to shape vibrant communities and drive positive change. Our Board of Directors is responsible for providing oversight, accountability, and direction to the corporation. To support its work, the Fundraising Committee is a group of community leaders, experts, and professionals appointed by the Board. Responsibilities of this Advisory Committee include: Work with the Board and Corporation to develop fundraising projects and activities and monitor the execution and implementation of fundraising activities, such as compliance with legal and ethical standards, cost-effectiveness, and performance against plans. Encourage, facilitate, and promote Director participation in fundraising activities, including identifying/providing connections and networking opportunities with potential funding sources such as government agencies, private foundations, corporations, and individual donors. Engage directly with current and potential donors, promote outreach and engagement with fundraising activities and events, and identify best-practices and opportunities to engage new donors and re-engage existing supporters.
