You’ll play a vital role in facilitating Magic: The Gathering and Dungeons & Dragons sessions while also supporting the logistical and interpersonal elements that make our events impactful. What You’ll Do: Lead Gaming Sessions (Optional): Facilitate tabletop games that inspire teamwork, creativity, and growth. Coordinate Event Logistics: Assist with bringing supplies (like food from Costco), processing game donations, and setting up events. Support Guests and Stakeholders: Help explain prison protocols to community members, media, foundations, and celebrity guests. Build Connections: Act as a bridge between incarcerated participants and visitors, fostering meaningful interactions that drive reform. What We’re Looking For: Availability the first Friday of each month from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with occasional prep tasks. People passionate about prison reform, mentorship, and creating safe, welcoming spaces for all. Strong communicators and team players who can manage logistics and engage with incarcerated people, and other stakeholders. Why Join Us? Who You Are: - A visionary leader with 7-10 years of executive experience in tech startups or innovation labs, skilled at scaling initiatives and navigating dynamic environments. - A creative thinker with a deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and a proven track record of leading diverse, high-performing teams. - An innovator with a background in skunkworks or similar environments, adept at developing and launching products that disrupt the status quo. - An advocate with a passion for criminal justice reform, and the ability to build meaningful connections with key players in the field.
