LMA focuses on South Phoenix, Arizona which records 83% minority population, negligible health care resources, and numerous social problems that exacerbate each other.

Envisioned and incorporated in 2020, LMA CEO and Board have been raising funds, developing partnerships, engaging with the community, and assessing the needs of South Phoenix. We created a business model that addresses the whole person and the whole family--men, women, and children--in the context of the community.

LMA addresses several critical areas of need in South Phoenix related to health care and overall health and well-being:
*Access to healthcare and health education, especially pregnancy and STD-related health matters
*Strengthening the family with mentoring, parenting/relationship skills training, and referral to other social services
*Moving families into greater economic stability through financial literacy and entrepreneurship.

LMA has served the South Phoenix community since 2021 with these free services: parenting and fatherhood classes, doula assistance, baby supplies, bi-monthly family events and parenting education. We are developing relationships and building trust so community members view LMA as a "go-to" resource. In June 2023, we expand our offerings to include pregnancy testing and education; ultrasound scans with nurse consultations; STD testing, community education, and nurse consultations; teen sex education, and other family strengthening programs.
