The Chapter would like the board member to live in the Northern California area as our two main events are in Sacramento & Roseville. The HDSA Northern California Chapter Board is a volunteer led active fundraising board of directors that ensures all Chapter activities are conducted in accordance with the HDSA Strategic Plan, Chapter Agreement, Plan of Work, and HDSA policies and procedures. The Chapter Board is led by an Executive Committee consisting of the President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. The Board meets 6 times throughout the year and there is no time commitment, though we are checking in more frequently leading up to our two large fundraising events (hosted in June & Sept) The Chapter has two fundraisers a year and the Board member should attend them along with a Huntington's Disease Family Education Day (in May).

Our local HDSA Rocky Mountain Chapter hosts our largest golf tournament of the year -- bringing in $70,000 in 2023. The 2024 Fairways for Hope tournament is taking place at Arrowhead in Littleton, CO on July 27th. We are looking for new committee volunteers to join our incredible team! We are looking for a motivated volunteer to fundraise via corporate and individual sponsorships. Responsibilities include: Identify and build relationships with potential donors Contact corporate representatives Develop strategies to encourage new or increased contributions Secure commitments of participation or donations from individuals or corporate donors Update donor databases Working with event chairs to develop a sponsorship plan Help to recruit and train sponsorship subcommittee Requirements Strong and professional communication skills -- written, verbal, presentation Promotes a strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables Able to work independently Ability to bring new ideas to the team Well-connected in the corporate community and willing to ask others to support the cause Comfortable asking for large monetary contributions.

The HDSA Northern California Chapter is looking for a talented corporate sponsorship lead. We are looking for a motivated volunteer to fundraise via corporate sponsorships. This position will initiate, nurture, and deliver sponsorship relationships for the Chapter. Responsibilities include: Identify and build relationships with potential donors Contact corporate representatives Develop strategies to encourage new or increased contributions Secure commitments of participation or donations from individuals or corporate donors Update donor databases Working with event chairs to develop a sponsorship plan Help to recruit and train sponsorship subcommittee Requirements Strong and professional communication skills -- written, verbal, presentation Promotes a strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables Able to work independently Ability to bring new ideas to the team Well-connected in the corporate community and willing to ask others to support the cause Comfortable asking for large monetary contributions. The HDSA Utah Chapter Board is a volunteer led active fundraising board of directors that ensures all Chapter activities are conducted in accordance with the HDSA Strategic Plan, Chapter Agreement, Plan of Work, and HDSA policies and procedures. The Chapter Board is led by an Executive Committee consisting of the President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. The Board meets 10 times (virtually) throughout the year and there is no time commitment, though we are checking in more frequently leading up to our two large fundraising events (hosted in May & Sept) The Chapter has two fundraisers a year and the Board member should try to attend them along with a Huntington's Disease Family Education Day.
