The Chapter would like the board member to live in the Utah or surrounding areas as our two main events are in the Salt Lake City Area.
The HDSA Utah Chapter Board is a volunteer led active fundraising board of directors that ensures all Chapter activities are conducted in accordance with the HDSA Strategic Plan, Chapter Agreement, Plan of Work, and HDSA policies and procedures. The Chapter Board is led by an Executive Committee consisting of the President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer.
The Board meets 10 times (virtually) throughout the year and there is no time commitment, though we are checking in more frequently leading up to our two large fundraising events (hosted in May & Sept)
The Chapter has two fundraisers a year and the Board member should try to attend them along with a Huntington's Disease Family Education Day.

We have 8 Chapters and 3 Affiliates: Arizona Chapter, Rocky Mountain Chapter, Utah Chapter, Washington Chapter, Northern California Chapter, San Diego Chapter, Los Angeles Chapter, Orange County Chapter, San Francisco Bay Area Affiliate, Las Vegas Affiliate, Southern Idaho Affiliate.
