Our volunteers recover healthy meals from commercial donor cafeterias and deliver them to specified nearby non-profit organizations. Every meal saved nourishes our community in need whilst also reducing the landfill waste and so helping the environment. The volunteer role would involve: picking up meals from our donor cafeteria, and delivering these meals to our non-profit community partner/s in nearby area. Each volunteer task will take approximately one hour including travel time between donor and recipient. Pick up and deliveries will be on a specified week day (not at weekends) and will be set for some time during morning to mid afternoon, depending on the donor requirements, and will be confirmed shortly. Volunteers will need to drive their own car. We welcome regular participation but will work with your schedule. We are looking for volunteers in the Morris county.

Our volunteers recover healthy meals from corporate donor cafeterias and restaurants and distribute them to our neighbors in need. Every meal saved stays out of the landfill, helping the environment, while also nourishing our community. We have a variety of opportunities for volunteers with cars including: - Picking up meals from our meal donor partners, which include corporate cafeterias, schools, caterers - Delivering meals to our non-profit community partners in the geographies we serve throughout NJ - Delivering meals to the homes of families and seniors in Princeton, Montgomery, Lawrenceville, East Windsor, and Plainsboro. Home deliveries are Monday-Friday 4-6pm; Donor to non-profit delivery times vary but are usually on Monday-Friday sometime between 9-3pm. We are looking for volunteers in the following counties: Essex, Middlesex, Mercer, Morris, and Somerset and are regularly adding more areas.
