The Green Crew Data Analysis and Reporting Internship gives you the chance to analyze real-world data, track the impact of conservation projects, and create reports that highlight Green Crew’s successes. What You’ll Do: As a Green Crew Data Analysis and Reporting Intern, you’ll lead essential projects that assess and communicate Green Crew’s impact. Here are some of the projects you could work on: Volunteer Impact Tracking : Track and analyze data on volunteer hours and contributions, creating reports to quantify the value of Green Crew’s community efforts. Water Quality Analysis : Analyze water quality data from local waterways, identifying trends and compiling findings into quarterly reports. Biodiversity Monitoring : Create an annual report on species diversity and habitat health to assess the success of Green Crew’s habitat restoration efforts. Annual Impact Summary : Consolidate data from all projects into a comprehensive report that celebrates Green Crew’s conservation achievements. Why Intern with Green Crew? The Green Crew Environmental Research Internship offers a unique opportunity to dive into conservation research, gather critical environmental data, and make a real impact on local ecosystems. Join us in the field, gain valuable research skills, and support conservation science while building your resume for college and beyond! What You’ll Do: As a Green Crew Environmental Research Intern, you’ll contribute directly to science-based projects, collecting data and supporting studies across various conservation areas. Here are some of the research opportunities available: Water Quality and Conservation : Lead water quality testing for our River Watch Program along the MN River basin, monitor contaminated sites, and support the Salt Watch Initiative to track chloride levels. Wildlife and Habitat Monitoring : Participate in projects like the Topeka Shiner Conservation Study, Bald Eagle Nesting Habitat Study, Rusty Patched Bumblebee Survey, and frog population surveys. Soil Health and Land Management : Conduct soil health assessments across multiple sites, develop an erosion management plan, and explore floodplain soil conditions.
