About Alora: Alora is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating mindful, holistic spaces for neurodivergent individuals and caregivers. We offer wellness programs like meditation, yoga, reiki, and astrology, with a focus on providing spaces to breathe, reflect, and connect. We are also home to REROUTE Magazine, a platform changing the narrative around neurodivergence, and we manage an art dealership showcasing neurodivergent artists. Position Overview: We are looking for a Program Coordinator to help organize and manage our holistic wellness programs and events. This role is essential to ensuring our offerings run smoothly and align with the needs of our community. If you’re passionate about creating supportive, mindful environments for neurodivergent individuals and caregivers, this opportunity could be a great fit. Responsibilities: Program Management: Develop, coordinate, and schedule Alora’s wellness programs, ensuring that events run smoothly and align with our mission. Community Engagement: Serve as a point of contact for program participants, offering guidance and fostering connections in the community. Facilitator Coordination: Collaborate with facilitators, yoga instructors, reiki practitioners, and other experts to ensure they have what they need for seamless program delivery. Promotion & Outreach: Assist in promoting Alora’s events through email newsletters, social media, and community outreach, ensuring high attendance and engagement. Feedback & Reporting: Track program participation, gather feedback, and report on program outcomes to ensure continuous improvement. Qualifications: Experience in program coordination, event planning, or community outreach, preferably in wellness, education, or nonprofit settings. Excellent organizational and communication skills with an inclusive, compassionate approach. Familiarity with holistic wellness practices such as yoga, reiki, meditation, or astrology is a plus. Proficiency with technology tools (Zoom, event management platforms, Google Workspace, social media). Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a passionate, mission-driven team. Role Summary: As a member of our board, you’ll do more than advise. You’ll help guide Alora with clarity and intention, ensuring our community continues to receive the mindful, loving support they need. You’ll contribute to our strategic vision, expand our wellness offerings, and ensure we’re on solid ground financially-always with the well-being of neurodivergent individuals and their caregivers at the forefront. What success looks like in this role: You’ll help grow Alora’s programs in a way that serves both the mind and the heart. You’ll work to ensure our community feels seen, supported, and valued. You’ll help secure resources that keep us moving forward without compromising our integrity or values. Most importantly, you’ll guide us with a focus on empathy, mindful decision-making, and genuine connection. Community Building: Help foster a space where everyone feels they belong, contributing your voice to how we build and sustain relationships with our community. Fundraising & Financial Oversight: Ensure we have the resources to keep growing in a way that honors our mission, while contributing to financial sustainability through grants, sponsorships, and donations. Governance: Uphold Alora’s commitment to transparency, mindfulness, and integrity in all our decision-making processes. Wellness Support: Guide the expansion of our wellness programs with an eye on holistic, mindful approaches that resonate with the neurodivergent and caregiving communities. Qualifications: A deep connection to the neurodivergent community, caregivers, or holistic wellness. A passion for mindful, compassionate leadership that centers around service. Experience in nonprofit governance, community building, or wellness practices is preferred. Fundraising, financial oversight, or grant writing experience would be a valuable asset.
