1st Fareham Beavers, Scouts and Explorers are looking for leaders to join their team. Work closely with young people as you equip them with skills for life and inspire them to grow. Volunteer flexibly, learn new skills, be part of a team and join the adventure. We're looking for volunteers at Beavers (age 6 - 8), Scouts (age 10.5 - 14) and Explorers (age 14 - 18). These sections run on various weekday evenings for 1.5 - 2 hours, if you can help at any then please do reach out. Your help makes all the difference!

We are looking to recruit a Secretary at 1st Fareham Scout Group to support the Trustee Board. You will be part of a team and will be involved in organising and taking minutes at meetings, administration support and maintaining accurate records. You will be required to attend Trustee Board meetings and the AGM, this will be roughly 4 - 6 meetings a year. There will be some essential training to learn about the organisations procedures and guidelines. Strong organisational and admin skills are essential for this role.

Are you looking for a fun and active volunteering role, with the opportunity to try new activities outdoors & indoors whilst supporting the young people in your community? This could be for you! We are looking for adult volunteers to help run several of the sections at 9th Southampton Scout group. They include volunteering with; Squirrels our 4 - 6 year olds on Thursdays from 5:00 - 6:00pm Beavers our 6 - 8 year olds on Mondays from 6.00 - 7.30pm Cubs our 8 - 10.5 year olds on Wednesdays from 6.30 - 8.15pm Scouts or 10.5 - 14 year olds on Tuesdays 7:00 - 9:00pm Our regular sessions take place during term time. Activities vary from den building, arts & crafts, cooking, hiking, camping, archery and various games. Some activities carried out will be working towards earning badges whilst other tasks will be just for fun. There will be some essential training to undertake that is mainly online learning in addition to carrying out a DBS check. On going training will also be provided and the opportunity to earn qualifications in some skilled activities if of interest. This is an exciting opportunity to start up and join a new Squirrels group. You will be organising and delivering skills for life to our 4-6 year olds scouts. Based in Pamber Heath we are looking for volunteers to help plan, organise and deliver a balanced programme of activities, events, and experience. These will be based around three main themes: outdoor adventure, skills and the world. The session takes place weekly on Wednesdays from 5-6pm, term time only. No previous experience is needed as full training will be given. As part of a volunteering team you will: Have fun and feel rewarded Learn new skills Make new friends Add to your CV and have the opportunity to gain qualifications Make a difference and give something back to your community Skills The ability to communicate effectively with young people and adults. Prior experience or a connection with Scouting is not necessary and we welcome people from all backgrounds.
