Reports to: Chief Executive Officer Location: Spokane, WA Believe In Me is seeking a Volunteer Grant Writer to research, develop, write and submit letters, reports and other materials as necessary to identify and suggest sources of grant support from foundations, corporations and government. Experience working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment and demonstrated flexibility in meeting shifting demands and priorities is a must. A high degree of creativity, energy and initiative is required. Duties and Responsibilities Study and understand the history, structure, objectives, programs and financial needs of the organization Research grant opportunities Draft grant proposals and supporting documents based on the funding requirements of the organization Submit proposals to the Chief Executive and Grants Administration Committee Chair for approval Respond to internal and external queries on drafted and submitted proposals Maintain positive relationships with fund providers and other stakeholders Maintain records and submit reports related to grant opportunities Qualifications Bachelor's degree in English, communications, creative writing or a related area (master's degree preferred) A minimum of two years experience in grant writing Strong presentation, communication and organizational skills. Proficiency in G-Suite (Google Docs, Google Sheets, Gmail, Google Drive). Role Summary: We are seeking a creative and motivated Volunteer Graphic Designer to join our team. As a Graphic Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the visual aspects of the 1st Gen College Hub app and its related marketing materials. Your designs will inspire, inform, and captivate our target audience while aligning with our mission and values. Key Responsibilities App Visual Design: Create engaging graphics, icons, and visual elements for the app interface, ensuring a cohesive look and feel that enhances user experience. Marketing and Promotional Materials: Design compelling graphics for social media, newsletters, and other marketing channels to promote the app and engage the community. Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs are in line with our brand identity, style guides, and messaging, reinforcing the "Believe in Me" brand across all platforms. Collaboration and Feedback: Work closely with the Marketing and Outreach Team to conceptualize and execute design ideas, incorporating feedback to refine and improve designs. The QA technician role plays an important part in our company’s product development process. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs, while being cost-effective.
