We're looking for Researchers to join our team virtually for a 3+ month project. Join us in our mission to end pet overpopulation! Our Mission We create and support programs to end pet overpopulation by preventing unwanted litters. Since 1981, with the support of people like you, we have led initiatives to improve the health and well-being of companion animals. We have always believed in leading the way to change. We know that change is made on the ground, with the hard work of grass-roots organizations and volunteers. For everyone who has adopted a stray cat, who has volunteered at a spay/neuter clinic or who has donated money: THANK YOU. As a Research Volunteer at United Spay Alliance (a partner of Marian's Dream) , you will be responsible for helping build and maintain our directory of affordable spay/neuter clinics and programs. By connecting with United Spay Alliance representatives within your assigned territory, you will help to create the most comprehensive list of resources that exists to date. As a member of the Research team, you'll have a direct impact on the sustainability of our grassroots programs, while being the driving force behind the expansion of our database. Join us in our mission to end pet overpopulation! Our Mission United Spay Alliance (USA) is dedicated to the promotion of accessible, affordable, and timely spay/neuter services to prevent unwanted litters and end pet overpopulation. USA works in partnership with Marian's Dream. Description As a Research Volunteer with USA, you will be responsible for helping build and maintain our directory of affordable spay/neuter clinics and programs. By connecting with USA representatives within your assigned territory, you will help to create the most comprehensive list of resources that exists to date. As a member of the Research team, you'll have a direct impact on the sustainability of our grassroots programs, while being the driving force behind the expansion of our database. Research Volunteers will work closely with the Administrative Director to research affordable spay/neuter options in their assigned state using existing directories (when available), Google, and other online sources. All information will be collected and compiled into the preferred template provided by USA and shared using Google Docs. A commitment of at least 2 hours per week for at least 3 months is preferred. Research Volunteer should be responsive to emails from USA team. They should be in regular contact with Administrative Director and USA team via email, and are expected to provide updates on their progress at least every other week. Zoom meetings may be scheduled as requested or required. Responsibilities: Manage and optimize our Google Ads campaigns to ensure we are fully leveraging the Nonprofit Grant. Conduct keyword research and adjust ad copy to improve performance. Monitor and analyze campaign metrics to enhance click-through rates and conversions. Audit and improve our website's SEO to drive organic traffic and increase visibility. Provide guidance on best practices for ongoing ad and SEO management. What We’re Looking For: Experience with Google Ads, particularly the Nonprofit Grant program, is highly desired. Knowledge of SEO best practices, including keyword research, content optimization, and analytics. Strong analytical skills to assess performance and suggest improvements. A passion for animal welfare and a desire to make a meaningful impact.
