We're looking for Researchers to join our team virtually for a 3+ month project. Join us in our mission to end pet overpopulation!
Our Mission
We create and support programs to end pet overpopulation by preventing unwanted litters.
Since 1981, with the support of people like you, we have led initiatives to improve the health and well-being of companion animals.
We have always believed in leading the way to change. We know that change is made on the ground, with the hard work of grass-roots organizations and volunteers. For everyone who has adopted a stray cat, who has volunteered at a spay/neuter clinic or who has donated money: THANK YOU.
As a Research Volunteer at United Spay Alliance (a partner of Marian's Dream) , you will be responsible for helping build and maintain our directory of affordable spay/neuter clinics and programs. By connecting with United Spay Alliance representatives within your assigned territory, you will help to create the most comprehensive list of resources that exists to date. As a member of the Research team, you'll have a direct impact on the sustainability of our grassroots programs, while being the driving force behind the expansion of our database.
Role Responsibilities
- Research low cost spay/neuter services in each assigned state
- Compile up-to-date and accurate contact information
- Connect with state leaders to verify existing resources
- Create blog and social media content
Desired Qualifications
- Writing skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to self-manage
- Willingness to speak on the phone
- Knowledge of Google Docs, social media
Those interested can complete our brief application, thank you again!
