This rewarding volunteer opportunity will allow you to help an organization with a cause.

Organize activities to raise funds or otherwise solicit and gather monetary donations or other gifts for an organization. May also raise awareness of the organization's work, goals, and financial needs.

You will assist with seeking sponsors, venues and developing a variety of packages. We need those who will work work well independently, be a quick and be a out of the box thinker.

This position requires a person who is outgoing and possesses the social and communicative skills to promote the mission of the nonprofit among the local community. Other duties would be to assist in organizing fundraising events, recruit volunteers, or arrange other projects to get the community excited about and invested in the organization. Correspondence via email and batch mailing; some phone calls, and daily data entry.

If you have this experience and would like to apply to perform your skillset to assist our organization, please apply on Tuesdays or Thursdays from 10am-12noon. The application process includes an Orientation, Video, and Interview which will last approx. 2 hours, on these two days only.

A community non-profit organization with a mission of keeping children 1) In school, 2) Off drugs, 3) Out of gangs, & 4) Teen pregnancy prevention. Boys2MEN-Girls2Women is a non-profit organization developed to serve the community by assisting children from 2 to 18 years of age in becoming productive members of society by instilling positive, spiritual, cultural, educational, vocational and social values.

Description

We as a team penetrates and infiltrates local elementary and secondary schools and unearth children who have Fallen Through the Cracks (FTC). Once FTC children are identified a Boys2MEN/-Girls2Women, Mentoring/Tutoring Club is established on school campus, churches, and community centers, and each FTC child is then incubated, nurtured, tutored and inspired towards greatness.
