Looking to make a difference with a smile?
Join our volunteer team at Anna's Cafe & Gift Shop, located at the Lyngblomsten Care Center! We're looking for compassionate individuals to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our remarkable residents (average age: 87!).
Here's how you can make a difference:
v Empower Seniors: Assist them in shopping for gifts, enjoying a snack with friends, or treating themselves.
v Be a Friendly Face: Embrace their stories and create a dignified environment.
v Schedule: Choose 4-hour shifts that fit your life (weekdays from 10 am - 3 pm). Exciting News! Weekend hours are now open starting February 2025!

Description
Lyngblomsten provides compassionate care to older adults through residential and community services. Volunteers of all ages are welcomed to explore over 100 unique and varied opportunities. While short-term options may be available periodically, we encourage longer-term commitments given the exceptional level of orientation, training and on-going education Lyngblomsten provides in support of its volunteers.
