ORGANIZATION: BAILEY FOUNDATION

The Outreach Specialist will focus on expanding The BAiley Foundation's network of partners, sponsors and participants for events and campaigns including the Guninness World record food drivve. This role is key to amplifying te foundation's mission, strenthening relationships and driving community engagement, successful completion of this role may lead to consideration for a future board position

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Community Outreach:

    • Identify and engage local businesses, schools, faith-based organizations, and community groups to participate in the event.

    • Distribute promotional materials and share event details to increase awareness.

    • Build and maintain a contact list of potential partners, sponsors, and collection hubs.

  2. Partnership Development:

    • Initiate and maintain communication with prospective sponsors and partners.

    • Share information about sponsorship opportunities and community benefits.

    • Follow up with interested parties to secure commitments.

  3. Event Promotion:

    • Use social media and email campaigns to promote the event and recruit participants.

    • Assist in creating compelling messaging to attract attention and increase visibility.

    • Encourage community members to sign up for donation drives and collection hubs.

  4. Communication & Tracking:

    • Maintain records of outreach efforts, including contact lists and follow-ups.

    • Provide weekly updates to the Executive Director or Project Manager.

    • Share feedback from community partners to improve outreach strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Proactive and comfortable with outreach activities like cold calling or emails.
