Position Title: Worship Media Technician Ministry/Department: Worship Ministry Reports To: Eld. Katrina Edmond, Worship Leader Time Commitment:

• Hours per Week/Month: Approximately 4-6 hours per week

• Schedule Requirements: Sunday mornings, Wednesday evenings, and occasional special events

• Duration: Ongoing

Position Overview:

The Worship Media Technician plays a vital role in creating a meaningful worship experience by managing the sound and video systems during church services and events. This role is essential for ensuring a seamless and engaging environment for both in-person and online worshipers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operate soundboards, microphones, and other audio equipment during services and rehearsals.

2. Manage visual media, including slide presentations, videos, and livestreams.

3. Set up, test, and troubleshoot equipment before and during services to ensure quality performance.

4. Collaborate with the Worship Leader and team to align media support with the service flow.

Requirements: Spiritual Requirements:

• A heart for worship and serving God’s people through technical excellence.

• Spiritual maturity and willingness to work in harmony with others.

Membership Requirements:

• Church Membership Not Required

• Regular Attendance Preferred

Skills/Qualifications:

• Familiarity with audio-visual equipment and troubleshooting skills.

• Basic knowledge of worship service flow and media presentation softwar.

• Ability to focus under pressure and adapt to changing needs during live events.

Additional Requirements:

• Minimum Age Requirement: 14 years old

Training Provided:

• Hands-on training in operating church media systems.

• Ongoing mentorship and guidance from the Worship Leader.

• Estimated training time: 4-6 hours initially, with ongoing support.

Support Provided:

• Access to all necessary equipment and software.

• Regular check-ins with the Worship Leader for guidance and feedback.

Location:

• On-site at church (Sanctuary and media booth)

• Remote for online only services)
