Grant Filing Room Assistant with Hope & Healing Survivor Resource Center

Volunteers will:

• Organize physical documents related to grant management, including applications, agreements, invoices, and reports.
• Ensure all files are accurately labeled and categorized according to the organization’s filing system.
• Conduct regular checks to verify that all documents are complete and properly filed.
• Assist in reorganizing and decluttering the filing room as needed.
• Identify and flag missing or misplaced documents for follow-up with the administrative team.

Volunteers must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills, ability to work independently and stay focused, prior experience with filing or office organization, commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handing sensitive info. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, step up and down, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear and drive. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

Through this assignment, volunteers are assisting the grants and billing department of Hope & Healing, as well as other leadership team members.
