Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Volunteer Data Analyst to help us leverage data for impactful decision-making and program optimization. In this role, you will work closely with the team to analyze program outcomes, identify trends, and support data-driven strategies that enhance our mission and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and analyze program data to provide actionable insights.
  • Develop dashboards and visualizations to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Support grant reporting by compiling relevant data and metrics.
  • Identify trends and opportunities for improving program delivery and participant outcomes.
  • Collaborate with team members to design surveys or data collection tools.

Qualifications

  • Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R, or Tableau).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

At Sankofatech, we are a group of professionals with a deep passion for technology and a commitment to developing our communities through the power of technology. We challenge the status quo, leverage technology for social good, and drive impactful change.

The Achievers In Technology (AIT) Program. The AIT is committed to bridging the gap and amplifying the presence of black technology professionals in the ever-evolving landscape of computer science. The AIT is a four-year journey (from freshman year to final year) for students of African descent pursuing a degree in Computer Science or its related degree. The program is dedicated to ensuring that our scholars achieve their dream professions by providing them with the assistance they need while in school. Our goal is to address underrepresentation and ensure that black technologists are given equal representation in the tech industry. Through the following aspects of the program, the AIT program can achieve its mission; AIT Summer Bootcamp, AIT Mentorship Program, AIT Interview Prep And AIT Mock Interviews, and AIT Events And Workshops.
