Musical Volunteers for Hospice Patients in Scottsdale
ORGANIZATION: Agave Healthcare, LLC
Please visit the new page to apply.
At Agave Hospice, we strive to support our patients and their families every step of the way in their end-of-life journey. Part of that support comes by providing theraputic music to fill our patients with peace, joy and nostalgia in their final months, weeks and days.
All our Volunteers go through general Volunteer Orientation and can then go out into the community where our patients reside and serve them with their musical talent. This can come in the form of visiting group homes and nursing facilities where patients and general residents alike benefit, or going to a hospice patient's private home.
This is a non-clinical volunteer role. Vigil Volunteers are not responsible for physically caring for patients, but instead offer a gentle presence for a dying person.
