Are you passionate and committed to supporting the next generation of Black tech talent? We at Sankofatech are searching for dedicated volunteers like you to join our team of volunteers!
As an AIT mentor, your primary responsibility is to develop an excellent relationship with your mentee and provide guidance to help your mentee succeed in becoming a technology professional. Our team will partner with you and provide you with the additional resources and support you need to effectively work with your mentee.
Minimum Qualifications:
AIT Technical Interview Coach
As a technical interview coach, your responsibility is to prepare scholars for technical and behavioral interviews for Software Engineering or Data Science internships. Coaches prepare scholars through mock interviews and leading out on a monthly coding session where they’ll walk through coding problems with scholars.

At Sankofatech, we are a group of professionals with a deep passion for technology and a commitment to developing our communities through the power of technology. We challenge the status quo, leverage technology for social good, and drive impactful change.
The Achievers In Technology (AIT) Program. The AIT is committed to bridging the gap and amplifying the presence of black technology professionals in the ever-evolving landscape of computer science. The AIT is a four-year journey (from freshman year to final year) for students of African descent pursuing a degree in Computer Science or its related degree. The program is dedicated to ensuring that our scholars achieve their dream professions by providing them with the assistance they need while in school. Our goal is to address underrepresentation and ensure that black technologists are given equal representation in the tech industry. Through the following aspects of the program, the AIT program can achieve its mission; AIT Summer Bootcamp, AIT Mentorship Program, AIT Interview Prep And AIT Mock Interviews, and AIT Events And Workshops.
