Job Summary

Remember the ToothFairy (RTF) is a student-led nonprofit organization based in the SF Bay Area and Los Angeles instilling healthy brushing habits in children through early dental education and exposure. Our team understands that poor oral health goes beyond cavities and gum diseases. In fact, children who have bad brushing habits often miss school more and receive lower grades than children that don’t. Through our service events, fundraisers, chapters, and partnerships, Remember the ToothFairy is ensuring a future with healthy smiles. From our members to our volunteers, we are devoted to the mission of helping as many children as we can.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Fundraising Lead to join our team. The Fundraising Lead will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and helping execute in person and online fundraisers, as well as helping generate ways to promote our fundraisers to gain maximum profit. The Fundraising Lead will also be in charge of all the volunteers on our Fundraising Team.

Duties

- Coordinate 1 fundraising events per month

- Communicate with executive team about outreach events that are happening
- Manage and communicate with volunteers to help out at fundraising events
- Work with our social media team to help market fundraising events to gain maximum profit

Skills

- Strong supervisory and volunteer management skills
- Past leadership experience (best if it has to do with fundraising, but any leadership experience is acceptable)
- Excellent project management capabilities
- Strong public speaking and writing skills to effectively communicate messages
