Make a Difference in the Lives of New Recruits! Volunteer a few hours each week to support the brave young men and women entering the U.S. Armed Forces. As a MEPS volunteer with the Red Cross, you will be essential in providing an emergency communication service that helps military families stay connected during crucial times.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with new recruits as they prepare to ship out for service
- Explain the Red Cross emergency communication services to them and their families
Assist in completing and processing Family Contact Cards, ensuring efficient communication if emergencies arise
Time Commitment: Volunteers are needed Mondays and/or Tuesdays at 8am-10am in downtown Boise.
